 Former MP for Damongo constituency to declare his parliamentary intentions tonight. 

Hon Adam Mutawakilu Garlus, a former Member of Parliament for Damongo Constituency is set to declare his intentions to contest for the position of NDC parliamentary slot for the Damongo constituency on Kasha FM in Damongo on 22nd February, 2023, at 8pm.


This was contained in message from his special aid Kudus Seidu Gbeadese on 22nd February 2023, stating that the former law maker for the constituency will make his intentions known to contest on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the up coming NDC parliamentary elections in the Damongo constituency. 


Hon. Adam Mutawakilu Garlus lost the Damongo constituency seat to the New Patriotic Party (NPP)'s Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor in the 2020 elections


The former legislature was the MP for the Damongo constituency for two terms, spanning from 2013-2021. He was also once a DCE of the West Gonja District, between 2009 and 2012.


His declaration will come as the second person to contest for the NDC slot after a earlier press statement released by Lawyer Zankawah to contest for the parliamentary slot of the NDC on 22nd February, 2023.
