 West Gonja Municipal Health Directorate launches Polio Vaccine Campaign in the Midst of COVID 19 The West Gonja municipal director of health service, Madam Gertrude Yentumi, in a welcome address said it is important and necessary to talk about polio having identified as a country polio virus in the environment, saying that one case has been recorded in North Gonja this year which calls for the need to protect our children against the virus. She made the call during stakeholders engagement of the launch of the polio national immunization days in the West Gonja municipal health directorate's conference room on the 29th August, 2022.  GCRN: Empower Young Generation For A Prosperous Future - NYA The National Youth Authority (NYA) of Ghana is calling on stakeholders and individuals to empower the youth for a better future.  The call was made during the National Youth Policy Dissemination Dialogue Session at Mampong, Anagkazo in the Eastern Region of Ghana on 11th August, 2022. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the national youth authority, Mr. Enam in his welcome address said the board in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports is developing this youth policy which will cut across all departments and meet the needs of all youth in the country, in terms of education and all sectors.  GCRN; Chief call on CYTT to be devoted and patience towards the project A Reference Group member and traditional leader of Sori No.1, Chief Dizoya has called on the Community Youth Task Team (CYTT) of Sori no.1 to devote their time towards localizing sustainable development goals project. He further stated the CYTT members should be committed, patient and united in working together as a team. Chief Dizoya made this call on Thursday, 4th August, 2021, when station facilitators invited him to the meeting in Sori No.1 in the West Gonja municipality of the Savannah region. He reiterated that CYTT members should not disappoint the community and their colleague youths who selected them on their behalf.  He commended the youth and the community for the unity and love they have exhibited in working together.
