 Over 800 Children Under Five Years Die From Diarrhea - World Vision Ghana According to WHO/UNICEF report, over 800 children under age five (5) years die every day from diarrhea which are linked to unsafe water, sanitation and poor hygiene, meaning the children died as a result of eating faeces each day. World Vision Ghana, in commemorating this year's World Toilet Day celebrations made this revolution in the West Gonja Municipality of the Savannah region on 24th of November, 2022 at the Damongo Astroturf under the theme; "Sanitation and Groundwater - making the invisible visible" . In curbing the situation, a declaration was made by the united nations General Assembly in the year 2013, where the World Toilet Day has become an annual event which is celebrated on the 19th of November every year to raise the awareness about people living without access to safely managed sanitation and to initiate actions to tackle the global sanitation menace.  Catholics in Damongo Diocese Celebrates Christ as a Universal king at the Holy Family Quasi, Parish - Kulmasa.  Catholics in the Damongo Diocese of the Savannah Region joined their counterparts worldwide on Sunday 20th November, 2022 to mark the feast of Christ the King at Kulmasa in the Sawla - Tuna - Kalba District. The Feast was geared with activities including; entrepreneurship training for the youth, football games, volleyball game, Quizzes, Beauty Pageantry (Miss DADYC) which the Linbingsi deanery emerged winners for both the Quizzes and the Beauty Pageantry. The activities were meant to empower and motivate Catholic youths in the Diocese during the celebrations and climaxed with the ordination of a Deacon by the Bishop of Damongo Diocese.
